Who We Are

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA® ) is a non-profit association with a 501(c)(3) tax exempt status (Federal Tax I.D #82-38-3859595). Our membership is comprised of Full Members (those with verified combat service), Auxiliary Members (spouses of the Combat Veteran), and Supporter Members (those who have non-combat military service and have strong dedication to helping veterans). Our Full Members are Combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces and from nearly all 50 states and abroad. Many members continue to serve in our Armed Forces, with several serving in combat areas now.
CVMA® FL 20-13 "The Biker Coast" is your local chapter located in Volusia County, Florida. Our mission is to support and defend those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our focus is to help the Veterans and Veteran care facilities, provide a warm meal, clothing, shelter, and guidance, or simply to say Thank You and Welcome Home. We do this by sponsoring and/or participating in numerous motorcycle-related charity events each year, and as a non-profit organization, donate to various Veterans, Veteran Care facilities and Veteran Charities. Our motto is Veterans Helping Veterans (VETS HELPING VETS).
We are a family-friendly, non-territorial association without affiliation to any club. We provide Combat Veterans who ride motorcycles as a hobby a place to come together to continue the brotherhood shared during military service and to help heal the invisible wounds that often result from combat.

Our Patch

The emblem/logo of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® is in the shape of a skull. The incorporated colors are:
Red: represents the blood that has been shed on the battlefield.
Military Gold: represents all branches of the military service of the United States.
Black: represents the heavy hearts possessed for those who gave their lives and for those that are considered missing in action or prisoners of war.
The Skull and Ace of Spade: represents the death that war leaves in its wake.
What does it mean to see a person wearing this patch? All of our Full Members are U.S. Armed Forces Combat Veterans. This means that each and every person wearing the patch – as pictured above – served abroad during wartime in a Combat Zone declared by Presidential Executive Order. Many members served in Vietnam, The Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan (to name a few).
There are other membership types including Support Members – those who have honorable non-combat military service; and Auxiliary Members – a spouse, widow or widower of Full or Support Members.
